Marcel Queiroz

Marcel serves as the Executive Director for SKY Resilience Program. He has been working with Trauma Relief Projects, Prison Programs and teaching Law Enforcement since 2015. In last 5 years, has overseen global initiatives that impacted more than 3000 officers and has trained teachers in Brazil, Mexico, Chile, South Africa, Philippines and the United States. Works as project manager in the strategic planning committee for Brazil Government, improving the entire productive sector in the country’s third-largest state, Bahia. His passion and experience is to accelerate institutional change in public and private institutions, focusing on individual’s resilience, stress relief, human-centered leadership, productivity and personal management.

Mandar Apte

Mandar is the Executive Director of the Cities4Peace initiative of IAHV and a Visiting Scholar in the School for Conflict Analysis & Resolution at George Mason University. He is also a Board Member of the Charter for Compassion, an international non-profit organization that promotes compassion in the world. In 2016, Mandar started the From India With Love initiative to reinvigorate the ancient message of nonviolence (or Ahimsa) in the world. Aligned with this mission, in Oct 2018, Mandar hosted the inaugural World Summit for Countering Violence & Extremism that brought together peace activists and law enforcement executives to promote peace and compassion in the world. Until 2016, Mandar worked at Shell for 17 years at Shell International, where he managed Shell’s prestigious GameChanger social innovation program.

Leslye Moore

Leslye Moore, Executive Director of Project Welcome Home Troops, delivers mind-body resilience programming to veterans and military members at Veterans Affairs hospitals, Universities and military installations and academies across the United States and internationally. She has held leadership roles within humanitarian organizations for over 30 years; directing a wide range of trauma relief and humanitarian assistance programs including refugee resettlement, anti-human trafficking, natural disasters and HIV/AIDS programs in Asia, Africa, Europe and Central America and the Caribbean.

Deepak Sridhar

Deepak Sridhar is a Breathwork and Meditation Instructor with IAHV as well as the Art of Living Foundation, a global non-profit organization. He is the Director Strategy and Operations for the Cities4Peace initiative of IAHV. He has also served as the Director of Operations for the World Summit for Countering Violence & Extremism and Director, Strategic Partnerships for the From India With Love initiative. Professionally an electrical engineer, he works in Silicon Management at Apple Inc. He has been working on community peace programs since 2012 and has pioneered new workshops and ways of engaging with the community.

Bill Herman

Bill received his BFA, MFA and teaching credentials from the Art Institute of Chicago. He founded SKY Schools and has trained SKY Schools teachers in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Australia, South Africa, Canada and England as well as the United States.

The International Association for Human Values (IAHV) is a 501(c)(3) educational and humanitarian Non-Governmental Organization, committed to programs of personal development that culture the expression of human values in everyday life. These include such values as a sense of belonging to a common humanity; respect for all people, cultures, and traditions; respect for the natural environment; an attitude of non-violence; and an ethic of social service.
